Dear All

A new group of residents calling themselves ‘Stand Up For Stanground’ (Those that adorned protest tee-shirts and attended the Town Hall meeting in numbers) have approached me requesting my involvement in the fight against the planned new development and have assured me that they meet my conditions of support. Discussions have been ongoing and on their invitation I have agreed to chair the new group.

The new site is in its infancy having just been launched and will be updated by the groups new administrator working in partnership with this website so please visit both sites for the latest news and information while the new site is populated.

A new contact telephone number of 07765 792167 has also been set up for anyone wishing to offer their support or for those seeking information updates particularly for those residents without internet access.

It is intended that ‘standupforstanground.com’ will be the news and information site and ‘citysouth.org.uk’ the chat forum for open discussion.

More information will follow as it happens.
